Elephant, twice voted #1 in Green, presents its 1st Eco Home guide:
check it for (yourself or) your loved ones. Make your House your (Eco) Home.
Now here’s a fourth.
Updog (get those shoulders up and back), downdog, dance?
elephant journal is dedicated to "bringing together those working (and playing) to create enlightened society." We're about anything that helps us to live a good life that's also good for others, and our planet. >>>
Founded as a print magazine in 2002, we went national in 2005 and then (because mainstream magazine distribution is wildly inefficient from an eco-responsible point of view) transitioned online in 2009. >>>
elephant's been named to 30 top new media lists, and was voted #1 in the US on twitter's Shorty Awards for #green content...two years running. >>>

i like american apparel but i would never wear these close for practice.
oops i mean clothes.
I think American Apparel may be almost as obsessed with yoga as Elephant Journal is with American Apparel…
Yoga is to dance what Kirtan is to jammin'
I am REPULSED with the amount of coverage you give that despicable company. I was considering donating to Elephant Journal on a monthly basis, but now I am questioning why. WHY WHY WHY are you giving them so much coverage? Are they paying for advertising?
I concur with Jennifer. American Apparel for anyone who does not know, has a very bad history of female exploitation …
Unless otherwise reported : they do NOT have my business or support. I will not KNOWINGLY purchase from companies who abuse anyone / anything / anytime! My power is in my purchasing dollars and I chose to spend and show my power through supporting companies who are taking steps toward social responsibility! Those who give a downdog about changing the world into a kinder / gentler / safer place to BE!
So, although I do love Elephant Journal : I do not support American Apparel till I hear they have changed their treatment and exploitation of women.
Her form is really bad! Please advertise for REAL YOGIS…not models who think they know how to do yoga! You guys are supposed to keep it real!!!
