Big favor? Nominate ele? Just tweet:

I nominate @elephantjournal 4 Shorty Award in #green because [say why]

We won #1 in the US for green on twitter, last year, but it was the 11th category out of 10, and therefore we didn’t go to the awards show or get the kind of national exposure that we’d get this year if we won. Yup, that’s right: green is a top 10 category this year, and after starting our campaign only three days ago (everyone else has been campaigning for 23 days, we’re already in 5th. But we started late (it’s a lot of effort, and we have no staff, so we weren’t sure if we could win again this year).

Follow @elephantjournal.

Anyways, if you’d like to help, all you have to do is cut and paste and tweet your nomination. We need at least 300 more votes to come in first. And we only have six days left to pull out this come from behind victory.

I nominate @elephantjournal 4 Shorty Award in #green cuz all involved recognize the importance of going electronic, despite business risks.

I nominate @elephantjournal for a Shorty in #green because of the lack of dead trees involved!
