A Meditation to Have Faith.

Faith is a funny thing.

According to the dictionary, faith is defined as having complete trust or confidence in someone or something. It is also defined as strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

I am a big believer in faith, but I’m not at all okay with either of those definitions.

To me, having faith doesn’t mean I don’t have to do any work, but it means I have no doubt that my hard work will pay off.

The Divine isn’t going to just drop money out of the sky for us to pick up. The Jeep won’t magically be fixed, though the fairies might bring back your key if you ask nicely. We won’t get a new job if we’re not out looking for one.

Faith isn’t blind.

Faith is living in such a way that leaves us open for what we deserve. Doors will open for us as you walk towards them. Opportunities will present themselves when we ask. Nothing just happens. Things happen when we are willing and ready.

This doesn’t mean we always know where we’re going when we set down a path.

There is always an element of unknown.

That fear can hold us back or it can drive us forward. When plans don’t work out exactly the way I wanted, I just remind myself that the Divine has my back and probably has something better for me in the works.

The important part is that I never stop taking new steps. I never stop walking forward.

I did once and I nearly got completely lost, because instead of allowing myself to be guided ahead by the light, I fell back into the shadows of fear and rejection. When I stopped, I got trampled by the life that was still happening around me.

This meditation is designed to help you tune in, truly feel and face the problem, and see that you are never facing those problems alone.

Have faith and you can fly above them, heal them with light and love, and truly begin to manifest solutions that create a life for yourself that is so good you feel like you’re living a dream:
