Isolated but Not Separated: One Breath at a Time.

Relephant read: Elephant’s Continually updating Coronavirus Diary. ~ Waylon

As we can not go out, so we have to go in.

Anger, frustration, despair…
Thank you for teaching us how to feel it all.

Yes, we are terrified—but we don’t run away from it anymore.
We’re bravely facing it.
And breathing through it.

One breath at a time:

We’re learning how to make sense in this madness.
And enjoy the most simple things.
⁣⁣Without knowing what tomorrow brings.

In the face of devastating fear we show up anyway.
and we finally realise,
we are needed now, each of us.

Thank you, because we clearly see it’s not the time to fight.
It’s the time to surrender to things we have no influence on.
It’s not the time to wrong anyone.

It’s time to lift each other up and appreciate each other.

⁣Thank you, as we are so far away from each other now and at the same time—closer than ever before…
Isolated but not separated.
We cannot meet but we connect in prayers and gratitude.
For those who need it now the most.

Thank you, as we can regard only the present moment.
Everything else is uncertain.
Thank you, for being alive and being able to share our hope for a better tomorrow.

We need to trust.
⁣⁣It’s all there’s left.
We need to trust that it will be alright. ⁣⁣It has to be.

Gratitude and hope will support us in facing the collective fear and helplessness.
We need to face it, and we can still choose faith in this global process.

And trust that it will be alright.
